In Memory of Jamie
"Life is a journey, I'm starting on the next leg..."
Jamie joined our Freedom Physical Therapy team in April 2018. As our massage therapist, she was loved by our staff and all her patients. Jamie had many different skills that she used to greatly improve the lives of all she touched. She had a huge heart, gentle yet strong hands, was full of kindness, and had an eagerness to learn and share her newfound knowledge.
Jamie was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer in late June and was given a few months to live. She had courage and was brave, spending time with her family, reassuring her friends, and preparing us all for her time of transition.
Cancer is never easy, and is rarely kind, but it can't erode faith, it can't diminish friendship, it can't erase memories, it can't destroy love or steal the soul and it can't crush the spirit; for Jamie lives on in all of us.
It's always hard to say "good-bye" so instead we say "bon voyage"
